During the last few years, Repsol has consolidated its long-term growth strategy, giving priority to key business, diversifying its assets portfolio and incorporating new partners for the development of its most potentially attractive areas. The keys to generating value in the future are based on 5 lines of action:

The company has committed itself to boosting efforts in the area of exploration and production, in order to develop resources in difficult to access areas with extraordinary results, which has allowed the reserve ratio to be replaced at 131%.

Another of the company's key strategic lines is that of making important investments in order to consolidate one of the most flexible and efficient oil product refinery and marketing systems in Europe. The investment made in the modernisation of the Cartagena Refinery is one of the biggest made in Spain, and it hopes to increase the conversion capacity and improve the competitiveness of the facilities.

At YPF, our strategy is to rely on local management to make the transition to a more open energy market and to continue investing in maintaining and increasing the production of non-conventional assets.

Together with Gas Natural Fenosa, the strategy is focused on consolidating Repsol through its participation in the LNG market and strengthening its business on the world stage.

The efficient management of the company's business portfolio and support for new energy initiatives, with the aim of building a more diverse future for energy, is one of the strategic growth vectors for the coming years.
